Bake yeast cake with apple and crumble easily as sheet cake recipe
Streusel cake or yeast cake with apple is and remains the best version for apple cake. So easy and delicious is our recipe with applesauce and yeast dough. It always tastes heavenly in combination and the cake stays moist. The crumble gives the yeast cake with apple a perfect light crunch.
Easy yeast cake with apple as a sheet cake recipe
I’m sharing with you my favorite recipe for a delicious sheet cake with dry yeast. Currently, this sheet cake recipe is my personal favorite cake, because it just always tastes delicious. It also always goes down well with guests, unfortunately you just can’t bake it quickly on the spur of the moment.
Streuselkuchen is a sheet cake that we always like to serve at family gatherings, because it tastes good to everyone and, depending on the season, can also be made with different fruits, such as cherries. Although the cake is made with yeast, it always turns out quickly and easily.
You don’t need complicated ingredients, but simple ingredients that are always needed in the kitchen and are always in stock at our house. Even if you don’t have applesauce in the house, you can bake the cake with just crumbles as a topping.
Especially with a yeast dough, I love using my food processor. The longer you knead the dough, the fluffier and softer the cake will be later. However, the longer kneading also adds gluten to the dough. Of course, you can also achieve the results with a hand mixer, but more relaxed here is of course the luxury of a food processor.

Nutrition
Personally, I like it when the sheet cake recipe is baked with applesauce as a topping, because then it is so really delicious and chewy. In winter I like to mix some cinnamon to the crumble, whereas in summer I prefer to eat the version without cinnamon.
The nice thing about yeast dough sheet cake recipes is that you can easily freeze them and they still taste fresh and delicious afterwards. In the summer, I like to serve a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the cake on warm days.
I’ll be happy to show you more variations of delicious and simple sheet cake recipes soon, which you can easily bake after. Some with yeast and some without yeast. Nothing tastes better with coffee than fresh cake that you have baked yourself. Regardless of whether you are expecting guests or just want to give yourself a treat.
Have fun trying them out!
